Vascular Malformation
A-V malformation is abnormal connection between artery, vein and lymphatics. Most common causes are trauma, developmental and congenital.
Symptoms
- Swelling in hand or leg that gradually increase in size and is compressible.
- Pain over swelling.
- Pain and swelling affected limb site to compression of nerve.
Treatment
- Surgery. Excision of swelling.
- Embolization. To decrease blood flow.
- sclerotherapy.
