Arterio- venous fistula is a connection made between arteries and vein for dialysis. It’s the best dialysis access in chronic kidney failure patient in terms of longevity and no infection, as caused by catheters. There are many option of A-V fistula like at wrist, elbow, lower leg, artificial graft and advanced fistulas. These options have to be used one by one so that longevity of dialysis access is prolonged. A-V fistula if stopped working can be repaired by removing block, this is called as salvage of AV fistula. We provide right dialysis access at right time and right site.
Av fistula if stopped working can be repaired with dissolving clots and dilating outflow vein. This is possible if patient comes early.
